Renaissance Milwaukee West, a premium distinctive hotel is seeking an energized and curious minded B&F (Restaurant) Manager to join our Eldr+Rime Leadership Team.

Eldr+Rime is a one-of-a-kind, destination restaurant showcasing new American cuisine inspired by modern Scandinavian lifestyle and culinary techniques. Eldr+Rime, which loosely translates to Fire+Ice, highlights grilling over live fire and wood oven roasting while also offering delectable seafood prepared over ice.

Role Summary:

* Manage the Restaurant, Bar and Lounge, and In-Room Dining associates and operations, ensuring brand values and image are upheld while meeting profitability, quality, and guest satisfaction goals.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee daily operations and manage staff performance to achieve established objectives.

* Demonstrate Concord, Renaissance, and Eldr+Rime brand values in daily leadership, maintaining a positive, effective, and efficient environment.

* Maintain collaboration and cohesion among Restaurant, Bar and Lounge, In-Room Dining, and Culinary associates and operations.

* Select, train, supervise, develop, and counsel associates.

* Schedule assigned departments to business volume.

* Manage time and attendance.

* Collaborate with Director of Beverage and Food Outlets to establish departmental budget; analyze financial and operating information on an ongoing basis, adjusting labor, supplies, materials, and other expenses to achieve budget.

* Develop and implement revenue generating programs which provide maximum price value to the guest.

* Maintain competitive edge by staying current in industry and anticipating trends.

* Develop and maintain local contacts in the community for public relations purposes.

* Solicit feedback from guests and associates.

* Assist in new menu roll-outs and ongoing training to staff.

* Monitor presentation of food product; review areas of opportunity with Culinary Team and Leadership.

* Adhere to safety, sanitation, and cleanliness expectations at all times.

* Assist in preventative maintenance programs to protect restaurant appliances and equipment.

* Collaborate routinely with hotel leaders in all areas to facilitate communication and ensure cohesion in hotel and restaurant objectives.

* Complete duties of direct reports, as required.

* Report to work on time and in compliance with brand dress and hygiene requirements.

* Other duties as required.

Desired Skills and Experience:

* Prior fine dining management experience.

* Full service hotel experience preferred.

* Flexible availability required.

Compensation:

* The annual starting pay for this position is $49,000, depending on experience.
