Design Group is recruiting for a **Sales Assistant** in our **Miami Beach, FL** location.

We are seeking a **Sales Assistant** to identify and develop sales leads through various sources including direct contact, networking, business/industry directories and publications, and trade shows. This person will create and maintain customer quotes and presentation materials and will coordinate sample and quote delivery to customers.

We will look to this person to partner with internal resources including our product development and design teams in order to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations. This person will be responsible for preparing various sales reports, business activity reports, and expense reports. This person will also have the opportunity to establish and maintain customer relationships with strategic accounts as a way to identify new opportunities to supply products and/or custom solutions.

Our ideal candidate will have a four-year college degree from an accredited institution or similar training to possess necessary analytical and organizational skills. We are seeking someone with previous sales experience in a B2B environment. Proficiency in selling and networking with retail buyers, particularly mass market and value chain retailers, is preferred. The perfect candidate will have excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills in addition to excellent verbal, written, and communication skills. Someone who is innovative, energetic, and positive will excel in this role. This person should be willing to travel occasionally, likely one trade show per year.
