The BMS Team Lead Position
As the Battery Management System (BMS) Team Lead, you will lead the development and management of the BMS installed within our clients automotive vehicles working on an innovative project. This role offers you the chance to work on a cutting-edge project in a collaborative team.
Role responsibilities may include:
- Formulate battery requirements based on system requirements and battery specifications.
- Prepare Battery Management System and charger specifications.
- Assess performance by conducting evaluation tests and identify any issues that arise
- Collate safety analysis and design review results to obtain type certifications.
- Manage the projects, working with partner companies for design and production purposes.
What we are looking for in our next BMS Team Lead:
Essential
- Experience with designing, evaluating, and verifying aircraft electrical components.
- Development/evaluation experience in Battery Management Systems, Battery Management Units and/or Electronic Control Unit.
- Previous experience as a Team/Project Lead or experience leading Project Development
Desirable-
- Knowledge of CAN communication.
- Knowledge of charger interfaces
- Proficient with MatLab and Simulink.
- Developing flying unit safety systems.
- Developing State of Charge (SOC) and State of Health (SOH) estimation control logic for batteries.
