Description

Function: To work with the Training and Education Manager to ensure all employees receive the training necessary to do their jobs. Be the primary trainer for new Banking Associates.

Duties:

Facilitate Universal Banker Training to new Banking Associates/Consultants. Continue training and communicating with new Banking Associate/Consultants and their In-Branch Trainer to provide ongoing support.

Provide Day One Onboarding to all new employees in the Training Center, or at their branch whichever is practical.

Ensure all training materials are up to date.

Work with Training and Education Manager and Compliance Manager to assign annual BAI compliance training. Manage BAI report requests, past due training notifications, etc.

Participate in other group training sessions as needed to observe and take notes on process.

Work with Training and Education Manager to develop training materials for all positions.

Travel to branches to provide training/support whenever necessary.

Manage and coordinate the training space, both for internal trainings and external community use.

Perform additional duties as requested.

Requirements

Education, Training, and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Direct customer contact experience desirable
  • Banking Consultant experience preferred
  • Training experience preferred
  • Experience with Jack Henry or similar system preferred
  • Experience with Articulate preferred


Physical Demands:

Must have the ability to read/see documents and PC screens, to communicate in person and via the telephone, and to use a PC extensively. The ability to speak, see, hear and write is integral to the position. Requires the use of eyes, hands, and fingers, at the same time, to operate an adding machine, calculator, and/or personal computer. Most activities are performed sitting at a desk. Must have ability to travel between branch locations.
