Our client, one of the leading industrial and commercial real estate developers in New England is hiring a maintenance engineer to help manage their properties and assist with any and all tenant needs. You will get to work on buildings of the industrial, manufacturing, biotech, retail and education nature. This role will involve traveling around MA. All gas and cell phone useage will be reimbursed.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to tenant needs
- Keep the property grounds organized and clean
- Maintain company log
- Building operations
- Maintain building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
- Respond to emergencies such as fire, flooding, severe weather emergency conditions (including snow and ice removal) power outage and other situations including clean-up activities.
- Physical inspections (of alarms etc)
- Travel to different properties throughout MA and Southern New Hampshire
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience with building maintenance
- MA Driver s License
- MUST HAVE A CAR AND BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO DIFFERENT PROPERTIES
- Familiarity with NFPA, standpipe, sprinkler and all fire and life safety systems
- experience with HVAC and mechanical equipment
- OSHA familiarity
- Must be able to lift 20-50 LBS
