**DEPARTMENT:** ARP / Warehouse

**SUPERVISOR:** Director of Operations

**STATUS:** Hourly / Non-exempt Full Time

**BASIC PURPOSE**

The purpose of this position is to assist in the overall mission of The Salvation Army through the programs offered under the direction of Corps Officers, Director of Operations and Warehouse staff.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Process donated goods for sale in our physical and on-line stores.

* Evaluate items and price according to industry standards.

* Ensure proper cleaning and packaging prior to shipment.

* Maintain records of hard tag items and update computer spreadsheets.

* Keep a current inventory of needed supplies.

* Contribute to the team effort of program participant guidance.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS**

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Experienced in identifying and pricing antiques and collectibles.

* Basic MS Office Skills

* Organization a must

* Must be able to work under time constraints

* Essential to be a team player and take direction.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:**

* Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis.

* Ability to grasp, push, and/or pull objects, to reach overhead. Ability to lift 60 pounds.

* Ability to stand for eight (8) hours per day on an intermittent basis.
