Acorn Distributors is seeking a motivated individual to provide leadership to the Ohio sales team. As an *Area Sales* *Manager*, you will work closely with each sales consultant to maximize their abilities to reach the highest level of success achieving company and individual goals. ***Area Sales Manager*** **Responsibilities**
* Manage, train and provide overall direction to the sales team
* Forecast and track sales & KPI goals to be achieved by the sales team
* Monitor the performance of the sales team
* Schedule time with sales consultants utilizing a consist monthly plan
* Implement a sales management processes to assist the sales team in identifying key customers and prospective customers
* Develop and sustain long-term relationships with customers
* Work with vendors to build strong relationships that result in successful achievement for us and them
* Collect market analysis ( competitor activity, growth avenues ) to provide to leadership team
* Conduct semi-annual and annual performance reviews to the sales team
* Coordinate with the marketing manager the needs of the sales consultants, customers, and overall market
* Schedule and conduct bi-weekly sales team meetings
* Provide ongoing training to the sales team
* Promote our company and brands throughout the state
* Ensure sales team is conforming with company policies and procedure
***Area Sales Manager*** **Requirements**
* Sales Management experience
* Exceptional leadership, communication and time management skills
* High level of motivation with the ability to motivate others
* Proven sales and customer relationship management
* Whatever it takes mentality
* Planning and implementing sales strategy experience
* Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Bachelors Degree in Business, Sales Management or other related fields is preferred
* Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
