**Description**

* Performs forklift pre-operational checks to ensure use of only safe equipment.
* Refuels/Recharges forklift when required
* Performs preventive maintenance duties/cleans equipment (forklift) used in process.
* Operates forklift, loading trucks and rail cars for shipment and moving material as assigned.
* Hand stacks roofing products weighing 40 to 90 pounds as required for upset conditions, product re-work, etc..
* Performs on-board computer functions relating to order entry, inventory management and raw material handling
* Builds and maintains a positive working relationship with co-workers.
* Participates in the housekeeping requirements of the plant as needed.
* Responsible for operations preventative maintenance task completion as assigned.
* Works overtime as needed.
* Operates equipment on the Production lines as required.
* Assists with upset conditions on the Production lines as required Jams, tails etc.
* Responsible for waste removal and storage from the Production lines.
* Conduct quality audits as necessary for the Production lines.
* Conducts preventative maintenance/cleaning activities as required on maintenance days.
**Requirements**
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Valid drivers license.
* 3-6 months related experience and/or training is preferred.

* The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
* This job is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, odors and airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, extreme heat or cold, vibration and confined spaces. The employee is occasionally exposed to acidic or caustic chemicals. A respirator may be required at times.
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to traverse both the production and office floors; remain in stationary positions while operating heavy equipment and/or office equipment; position self to inspect, operate, and maintain heavy equipment, which may include climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling and crouching.
* The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
