**Barista- Cafe (Kingsburg, CA)**
Kingsburg, California Minimum Experience **Entry-level** Every Kuppa Joy team member must be committed to delivering the highest quality coffee to our customers, but we also pride ourselves on outstanding customer service and a welcoming atmosphere. Our locations are beautiful showcases of our world-class coffee, but it's the staff that makes Kuppa Joy truly special.
Kuppa Joy is looking for positive and energetic team members with amazing service skills and a strong desire to learn about coffee. We're expanding throughout the central valley, so there are very real opportunities for advancement.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Maintain positivity and enthusiasm at all times
* Ensure that a quality product is being served to customers
* Promote an excellent experience for both employees and customers
* Have a clear knowledge on all inventory items
* Cash Handling/Register Operation
* Welcome and connect with every customer every time
* Anticipate customer and store needs by being aware of surroundings
* Take customer orders/service customer needs
* Consistently provide quality coffee beverages for customers
* Adhere to caf schedule
* Follow Kuppa Joy's cash handling procedures
* Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines
REQUIREMENTS
* Retail experience preferred
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Must be positive and approachable
* Well organized and detail oriented
* Ability to work well with a team
* Ability to learn quickly
* Logical and methodical approach to problem solving
* Flexible with the ability to multi-task in a highly demanding and sometimes stressful environment
* Available Weekends and Holidays is required
* Ability to obtain a CA food handlers certificate is required
