MDSC provides 24/7 support to adults with developmental disabilities in our residential group homes and a day services center. We are seeking a **Residential Assistant Manager** who desires the unique opportunity to provide hands-on care, lead front line staff in skill development, as well as assisting with the overall function of a group home.
**Qualifications:**
* Candidate should have demonstrated skills in effective communication, problem solving, organization and leading teams across shifts
* 1+ years of experience working with developmental disabilities
* 1+ years of experience in a leadership role
* Minimum education: high school or GED
* Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record

**Essential duties of a Residential Assistant Manager include:**
* Assists clients with the delivery of their Annual Plan of Care
* Performs Direct Support Professional duties alongside coworkers such as hygiene care, cooking, feeding, housekeeping, and medications
* De-escalate physical & mental behaviors using Mandt training
* Helps train and orient DSPs
* Acts as professional role model with clients, staff, and guardians
* Oversees day-to-day household operations
* Assists with household and clients' budgets
* Grocery shopping
* Creates monthly menus
* Attends client appointments
* Electronic documentation
* Coordinates with Group Home Manager on client support plans and community integration
**Shift Requirement:**
* Evening shift on the weekdays
* Day or evening shift on the weekend
* Exact schedule varies depending on the group home
**Job Type**
* Full-time (40 hours per week)
