Manning | Kass is seeking talented, forward-thinking litigation attorneys to join our Medical Malpractice Team and represent our Firm on cases in the Los Angeles area.


We seek an Associate Attorney for our Health Care Liability and Elder Abuse team in Los Angeles.


Manning Kass' Medical Malpractice and Elder Abuse teams represent medical professionals, public entities, and healthcare facilities throughout Southern California. The practice includes civil litigation at both trial and appellate levels, allied health board hearings, administrative hearings, drug/medical device litigation, managed care litigation, and elder abuse litigation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Case evaluation, direct client contact, conducting discovery
  • Reporting, scheduling depositions, and court appearances
  • Preparing cases for trial, and time management skills.


Requirements:

  • JD from an accredited Law School and current good standing with the CA State Bar
  • Must possess excellent communication and writing skills with attention to detail
  • At least three years of litigation experience
  • At least three years of Medical Malpractice experience
  • Elder Abuse Law experience is a plus
  • Knowledgeable in the healthcare industry
  • Demonstrable experience researching, analyzing, deposing, and handling cases
  • Detail-oriented with excellent writing, communication, and case analysis abilities
  • Embodies Manning Kass core values of leadership, hard work, and integrity
  • Proficient with the latest trends and best practices in litigation
  • Trial experience and liability defense a plus
