Sentec is growing and seeks a dynamic Manager of IT Support to oversee the delivery of technical support and devices to our in-office and remote US employees. In this role, the Manager of IT Support will provide timely, efficient, and professional service and support ensuring that the IT systems and infrastructure are maintained and updated.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide desktop support to end-users including hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Install, configure and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
- Set up and manage user accounts and access rights for new and departing employees.
- Respond to IT support tickets in a timely manner and resolve technical issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates and backups.
- Collaborate with other IT team members including our Swiss Headquarters to ensure compliance, cyber security and collaboration on shared IT processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
- Conduct software installations, updates, and patches.
- Analyze system logs and identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Coordinate and make ongoing improvements to IT Security and Awareness training for new and existing employees.
- Provide support for Software such as ERP, new technology implementation.
- Manage the Cloud based Phone system and other systems used in operations of the business.
Qualifications/ Education:
- 3-5+ years of IT Support/Administration experience required.
- IT related education.
- IT Helpdesk experience supporting a remote sales force.
We are looking for someone who has the following skills:
- Administration of Microsoft Office 365
- Good knowledge of IT hardware (Notebooks, Server, Network)
- Excellent analytical skills with very strong attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
It would be terrific if you have prior experience with:
- Salesforce and Netsuite (ERP)
- Medical Device Experience
