FAS is seeking an Account Manager with experience selling industrial automation and/or robotic solutions to manufacturing companies. The Account Manager is responsible for finding new customers and managing relationships with existing customers. The Account Manager will collaborate with management, estimating and engineering during the course of assessing, defining and pursuing sales opportunities. After a sale, the Account Manager will transition the project to engineering. This position will report to the VP of Sales.
The Account Manager s responsibilities include:
Maintain and strengthen the company s relationship with existing customers
Search for new customers within our target markets and technologies
Respond to assigned leads from our web site, vendors, direct contact and other sources
Stay current on our common technologies, applications and industry trends
Create and implement plans for each assigned customer
Candidates must have the following qualifications and experience:
Degreed engineer Mechanical, Electrical or similar discipline
Five years or more sales experience in industrial automation or robotics. Hands-on engineering experience in design, programming and commissioning automation systems is a plus.
Excellent communication and writing skills
Team oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills

The Account Manager position includes travel to local customers and other customers across the U.S. Travel is estimated at 30% - 50%.
