We are recruiting a Senior Graphic Designer for a leading advocacy organization in the Sacramento area. This is a direct hire opportunity and a newly created role as the department is expanding. Our client offers a hybrid schedule - 2 days onsite/3 days remote. The Senior Graphic Designer will collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to conceptualize and execute design solutions that align with their brand objectives and resonate with the target audience. Salary: $55,000-$70,000 DOE.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Graphic Designer in full design cycle (concept to final product), long form media (books/magazines), other print projects, email campaigns, social media postings and website design.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience.
  • Conceptualize and develop creative design solutions that effectively communicate client messages and align with brand guidelines.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables exceed client expectations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance design capabilities and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Present design concepts and rationale to clients and internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback and revisions as needed.


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
  • Experience with Digital & Print & Annual Reports - Long Form Media (Magazine/Books, Printed)
  • Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate client briefs into compelling visual solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate design concepts to non-design stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve shared goals.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience working in a creative agency or similar fast-paced environment is preferred.
