KELYN Technologies, providing trusted data backup and recovery solutions for demanding government and enterprise users has an immediate opening for an experienced Cloud Engineer!
This position will provide enterprise level support to customers working in classified and unclassified environments. We are looking for someone that is a self-starter, has a passion for working with customers, has experience with backup and recovery, and is comfortable with running solutions in the AWS Cloud.

Title: Cloud Engineer
Schedule: Full-Time, on-site in Vienna, VA
Salary: $140k - $165k dependent upon experience
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for operational management of cloud-based backup and recovery system.
- Work with Customer on ATO process.
- Provide onsite management of system with support from internal development and support staff.
- Assist with recovery of data for customers experiencing a critical outage.
- Monitor and Maintain system health daily.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics or related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Backup and Recovery domain experience.
- Comfortable in AWS cloud hosted environments.
- Experience with Python and AWS CDK Strongly Preferred.
- Comfortable in Linux environments.
- Strong knowledge & experience of Networking, Storage & Operating system (Windows & Linux)
- Strong knowledge & experience with Virtualization (VMware, RHV, etc.)
- Strong knowledge & experience with Object Storage (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Detail oriented with strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Windows Server: 3 years (Preferred)
- Linux: 3 years (Preferred)
- Backup Administration: 5 years (Preferred)
- AWS Cloud: 3 Years (Preferred)
- Experience with Commvault implementation & troubleshooting is strongly preferred.
