Litigation Attorney

Our client seeks an experienced general commercial mid-level litigation attorney for their Oakland or Walnut Creek office. This is an opportunity to join a well-established firm that offers interesting work, a collaborative working environment, opportunities to support pro bono activities, competitive benefits and a very reasonable billable hours requirement. This person will work directly with partners and independently manage client matters without day-to-day supervision.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• California Bar license in good standing
• 5+ years of litigation experience
• Must be a self-starter with superior organizational skills and the ability to independently manage multiple cases
• Must be able to develop and execute case strategies and plans
• Must be able to communicate with the clients; draft legal documents and delegate and oversee work of junior associates and paralegals.
