Job Details
This position is responsible for coordinating and controlling all activities of AMHS SBO department as well as Saratoga Hospital PFS. The Director of the SBO is responsible for the strategic leadership and management of activities and services related to Single Billing Office functions. This position is accountable for developing strategy and establishing efficiencies that align with the organizational goals and initiatives to capture and maintain customer driven inquiries and the collections of patient balances in a timely manner to ensure optimal revenue self-pay collections, and regulatory compliance. Ensures that cash flow is sufficient so the Hospital may operate on a daily basis while minimizing the effect of bad debt.
Education, Training & Experience
- Business Administration, Finance or Accounting degree (BS/BA) required, Masters preferred
- 5 or more years of Patient Financial Services Management experience
- Skilled in Epic SBO Application
- Skilled in Meditech B/AR application, or equivalent billing system
Salary Range: $95,803.60 - $129,346.00 annually
