Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Resident Care Assistant at Moldaw Residences in Palo Alto, CA. As a Resident Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing assistance and support to residents in their daily activities and personal care. This includes but is not limited to helping with meals, medication reminders, grooming, bathing, and mobility assistance. You will also be responsible for documenting residents' progress and communicating with the care team.
Qualifications
- Experience in providing care and support to seniors
- Knowledge of basic caregiving procedures and techniques
- Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and empathy when working with seniors
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Certification in First Aid and CPR
- Experience in a senior living or healthcare setting is a plus
