This position is open in Oklahoma City, OK or The Woodlands, TX.


Role and Responsibilities

The overall responsibilities of the environmental trainee position is to learn and understand the environmental responsibilities at Innospec Oilfield Services. The position will work closely with the SHE, ESG and Fleet Dir. learning and understanding the overall position duties. The specific duties are listed below:


  • Tier ll reporting
  • Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan Drafting Reviewing Ensuring the site is compliant with plan
  • Loss of containment investigations and reporting
  • SPCC Plan review and implementation at sites
  • Train employees on SPCC Plan duties and SWPPP duties
  • Profile waste for disposal
  • Track waste manifest
  • Manage disposal of non-haz and haz waste OFS
  • Trend LOC data and generate LOC reports
  • Review equipment functions and efficiencies
  • Assist in drafting MFG and field SOP S
  • Assist in draft maintenance procedures
  • May perform other job duties
  • Ability to travel as needed (25%-30%)


Role Requirements

  • Bachelor s or Associates Degree in Science related field or equivalent job experience is preferred
  • Ability to respond during crisis and high pressure situations and rapidly adjust to changing priorities as needed
  • Intermediate knowledge of US Safety and Environmental regulatory/compliance
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of applicable SHE regulations and their practical implementation
