Sales Support
Schedule - Onsite Monday through Friday - $23/hr. - $25/hr.
Position Summary
Interface with sales team, customers for the purposes of supporting any sales activities of secondary packaging machinery and its after-sales support activities. Work in close collaboration with Sales Representatives, Managers, and team members to support every aspect of sales activity.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
A. Internal Duties & Responsibilities

1. Document creation.

  • Create product matrix for new opportunity both in English and Japanese
  • Create documentation to submit to the corporate office for quotation in Japanese
  • Translate document/drawings from English to Japanese, Japanese to English
  • Data entry to Sage
  • Download sales data from Kintone and edit data for presentation.
  • Create sales meeting presentation materials with PowerPoint.
  • Arrange shipping product samples to Japan.
  • Revise the spec sheet template.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues which may arise.

2. Communication / Interface
  • Work with other Sales Representatives / Managers / Sales Support Team Member/ other departments to support every aspect of sales activities.
  • Communicate with Sales Representative to follow up and update the sales data.
  • Coordinate with Sales Representatives / Managers / Sales Support Team Member/ other departments to support organizing trade shows and other events.
  • Communicate with headquarters, accounting, personnel, IT, etc., as necessary, both internally and externally.
  • Communicate with customers to follow up any Sales Representative activity.
  • Communicate with supplier to create sample packaging materials.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Office/Admin work experience preferred.
  • Fluent / Business level in English.
  • Japanese skill is required (read and write), oral communication skill is not required but helpful.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Word and Excel
  • ERP system experience is a plus.
  • Logistics experience is a plus (import/export).
  • Inventory management experience is a plus.
  • Travel: 0-10% (possibly once a year).
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
