Maintenance Technician

International manufacturer in of automobile part in Mooresville, North Carolina is looking for a Maintenance Tech to join their team of experts committed to quality, safety and excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for our new Maintenance Tech will be:

• Using basic hand tools to disassemble and repair machinery
• Performing routine cleaning, inspection and testing of mechanical and hydraulic systems and components
• Installing and replacing mechanical drive systems and hydraulic motion control system components
• Performing necessary adjustments and alignments on motors, couplings, sheaves, sprockets, cylinders, linear slides etc.
• Setting up and operating metal working machinery such as lathes, drill presses, mills and grinders in order to fabricate, modify or repair various machine parts.
• using basic electrical testing devices such as voltmeters, ammeters, resistance testers or mega ohmmeters to measure and test electrical circuits and components
• Using circuit diagrams and appropriate test equipment to analyze industrial machine control circuits and high frequency/high voltage generating circuits
• Participating in in-depth root cause analysis
• Using specialized interface equipment to move reset and reteach servo systems
• Participating in PM, MMOL, G5S activities as needed. G5S (Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
• Following EMS procedures including the disposal of waste and used materials

Education:

High School Diploma or GED plus 1 year experience

CRC Bronze or Above (desired)

Preferred:

Associates degree or equivalent

Certified Production Technician program completion

Work Schedule: 4 days on/ 4 days off

Shift: Multiple shifts available
