Growing manufacturer is adding a Manufacturing Buyer to their team. The Manufacturing Buyer will work within a team of procurement professionals and will be responsible for the following tasks:
* Sourcing components, parts and raw materials for production
* Negotiating pricing, payment terms, freight terms, warranties and contracts
* Managing multiple RFQs at a time
* Working with a core base of suppliers and adding new suppliers as needed
* Handling changing procurement responsibilities in a fast paced work environment
* Developing and coaching supplier base
* Track and enter needed information into the organization's ERP system
* Complete additional tasks as assigned
Candidates must be able to communicate directly and effectively at all levels, be self-motivated and detail oriented, be able to handle multiple tasks and take initiative on projects. **REQUIREMENTS for the Manufacturing Buyer:**
1. A bachelor's degree with at least two years of manufacturing procurement experience or an associate's degree with at least five years of similar manufacturing procurement experience
2. Experience sourcing new suppliers on an annual basis 3. Experience negotiating pricing, freight, warranties and contracts
4. Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
**Skills preferred but NOT required:**
1. SAP experience 2. Blueprint reading 3. Job shop experience 4. OEM experience
**Candidates are preferred to be local to the Findlay, Ohio area.**
