Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Irvine, CA for a Civil/Environmental Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for understanding and interpreting site data, working under a senior professional engineer to design remediation plans, preparing risk assessments and workplans, and having creative input into solving complex environmental problems. The candidate will work in multiple small project teams that offer a wide variety of work assignments and will visit jobsites to get a first-hand knowledge of how the solutions will be put into place. Oversight of construction and field inspections are also a regular part of the job.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited U.S. university; Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is a plus.
- Experience in site characterization and remediation in California.
- Understanding of the basics of construction, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with California's regulatory frameworks and compliance standards is a plus.
