This strong Integrated Healthcare Organization is seeking a dedicated and experienced *Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner* or *Physician Assistant* to join their team in *San Diego, CA* on a full-time basis. The selected candidate will work 40 hours per week during office hours, *Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. *This exciting opportunity offers a dynamic work environment with inpatient responsibilities and potential for Outpatient work, allowing for professional growth and development.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Rounding at Senior Nursing Facilities.
* Conducting follow-up visits lasting 20 minutes and evaluations lasting 40 minutes, with an average of 15-20 patients per day.
* Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of Psychiatrists, therapists, clinical social workers, RN s, and other Nurse Practitioners.
* Handling a mix of medication management and assessments.
*Qualifications:*
* *Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certification.*
* Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in *California.*
* Experience in prescribing medications, preferably with a few years of prescribing experience.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
