Job Description Summary:

The principle purpose of this position will be for this director to advance a sub-specialty clinical program across the OhioHealth Neighborhood Care network. This position will be responsible for the Clinical Quality, Customer Satisfaction Results, Quality of Worklife, and Financial Performance of the Sports Medicine Program. This master clinician in this position is responsible for the program development, clinician development and coaching, strategic planning, annual plan development and implementation and collaboration with medical advisors and physician partners accessing Sports Medicine services.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree (Required)ATC - Athletic Trainer Credential - Board of Certification for the Athletic TrainerBoard of Certification for the Athletic TrainerBoard of Certification for the Athletic Trainer, NATA - National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification - National Athletic Trainers AssociationNational Athletic Trainers AssociationNational Athletic Trainers AssociationField of Study: Allied Health or related field. National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification and State of Ohio licensure in Athletic Training Three to five Years of Experience in a sports Medicine senior leadership position. successful analysis, authorship, and implementation of program development and expansion initiatives of sports Medicine programs State of Ohio Athletic Training regulations requirements Third Party Payors and Reimbursement Guidelines State of Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation Guidelines Federal Medicare Medicaid requirements and regulations The ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies Excellent written, oral and electronic communication skills Dedicated clinician development and coaching ability Preparation for and participation in strategic Planning Experience in dealing with and ability to teach others how to collaborate with medical advisors and physician partners accessing rehabilitation services Five years Experience
