Job Details

JOB SUMMARY: Perform clerical and administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy and the desire to offer nothing less than superior customer service at all times. The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, well organized team player.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Ensure the processes that handle the data are functioning efficiently and effectively. Provides HR Administrative support to HR field

Track payroll related data (direct deposit, W4's, department transfers, time sheets, address/contact info updates, salary changes, etc.) each pay cycle

Serves as the main point of contact for most employee inquires. Responds to employee questions regarding company policies and procedures, compliance documentation, benefits, PTO, payroll, etc.

Obtain and maintain employee records to ensure information is accurate and compliant, and that it is entered into the HR/Payroll system for proper allocation of pay and benefits.

Create personnel files and enter info into HRIS System.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of all pre-employment and new hire paperwork

Manage Security Badge (IDs) system.

Assist in safety training and tracking.

QUALIFICATIONS the ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, well organized team player. Candidate must also be able to prioritize multiple tasks with good written, oral and interpersonal communication skills and have a desire to offer nothing less than superior customer service at all times.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Degree or High School Diploma required.

At least 2 years experience in Human Resources roles preferred.

Must have strong organizational skills

Strong computer skills required, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Experience with personnel and payroll data systems.

Must have the ability to plan for, track, prioritize and execute multiple recurring and ad hoc tasks.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Strong diplomacy and adaptability attributes to deal effectively with senior executives. Must possess strong logic and reasoning skills.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percents.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
