Cybernetic Search are partnered with an exciting energy company with a focus on renewable energy. We are seeking a Sr Network Architect to support the non-nuclear power generation fleet and the renewable generation projects like solar and battery storage.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement network designs for non-nuclear power generation
- Support SCADA and ICS managed network device configurations (e.g. network switches, routers, firewalls)
- Troubleshoot and Analyze network Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention/Detection Systems.
- Subject Matter Expert for networking issues and manage, configure, install, troubleshoot, and provide oversight for network devices and network services associated with SCADA/ICS systems, Cyber Security networks
- Network maintenance and system upgrades including replacement, service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in network design, management and deployment, firewall configurations, network switch configurations, and network security.
- Strong experience with Network Switches, Firewalls, and Routers.
- Network experience with Industrial Control Systems (SCADA, PLC, DCS) and third-party datalink protocols (e.g. Modbus, DNP, etc.).
- Microsoft/Cisco device and system administration experience.
