Caregiver Responsibilities:
- Companionship activities such as reading, games, music, and puzzles.
- Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping tasks include vacuuming, dusting, changing bed linens, etc.
- Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments
- Personal Care: bathing/showering/toileting/dressing/gait belt/Hoyer Lift
- Assisting with active and passive range of motion exercises
- Special assistance for Alzheimers, dementia, and Parkinsons care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Driving License and Reliable Vehicle
- High school graduate or GED
- Able to lift and bend with 50 lbs.
- Willing and able to pass a background check.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed
- CNA license, Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide certification is preferred.
