Purpose To orchestrate sectional work activities to assure efficient manufacturing of a quality product that meets or exceeds expectations. Responsibilities Perform changeovers and completes changeover setup form Arranges assistance for changeover Responsible for the cleaning for blenders/material changes Mix or oversee the mixing of resins in middle and small area Completes paperwork for production sheet, labor log, scrap sheet and daily functional check sheet. Make sure scrap gets weighed and recorded on shift paperwork Set all secondary equipment (printer, punches, etc.) and test functionality Watches for stack light alerts Supports and complies with safety and environmental guidelines Make machine adjustments as needed for Packer/Inspector Calls for medical assistance and applies first aid if trained Completes maintenance request forms Closes orders in system Watches rates and applies correct variance code in system Collects, weighs and documents all scrap; enters in system Bill of Materials adjustments and corrections Works a 12-hour day, 4 days a week; weekend work is mandatory Continue to check run rates.
