Waste Connections is looking for a General Labourer to join our team at our Hamilton District to work at our Transfer station in Hamilton, ON. This is an entry level full time position with a reputable company. The days of the week are subject to business needs. Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
Location: 460 Kenora Street, Hamilton, ON and 37 Kilbride Rd, Hamilton ON
Pay rate: $16.40 per hour
Hours: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm straight days, 40 hours per week and some overtime available.
Responsibilities Include:
* Directing traffic onsite
* Guiding the general public and offering direction
* Keeping the area clean
* Some sorting of materials
Requirements:
* At least 1 year of general Labour work experience
* The ability to lift up to 75 pounds
* Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift
* Be able to pass our background checks (Drug and Criminal check)
