Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Take and deliver residents food orders in a timely manner. Knowing the details of the menu and items within the food that may impact a resident s diet restrictions
- Pour and serve beverages for residents, ensure hospitality bar is stocked and has fresh beverages.
- Follow kitchen and dining room cleaning schedules.
- Keep environment safe and clean.
- Observe residents for safety and report all changes in resident condition effectively, accurately, and in a timely manner report to Management team.
- Always observe and uphold resident rights
- Positively supports residents with emotional and behavioral issues
- Assist other staff as needed on the floors
- Assist residents to and from meals, delivering meals to residents apartments and helping serve in memory care as necessary.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor

- Must be neat in appearance, pleasant personality, be congenial to fellow team members, residents, families and the public in general.
- Must be capable of using own judgement and initiative in daily duties.
- Demonstrates safe working practices at all times
- Maintains a professional image to residents and fellow co-workins in words, actions and in appearance
- Maintains confidentiality and privacy of our residents and staff at all times
- Relate to residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative manner
- Must be a mature individual. Must possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice.
- Must have strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Must be detail and team-work oriented.
- Must attend required in-services/ workshops to further education of skills and community requirements.
Qualifications:
- Must be Drug free and submit to Urinary Analysis Drug screening upon hire.
- Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check, Health Screening including TB test.
- Must be eighteen (18) years old.
- Maintains current first aid certification and food handlers.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret diet restrictions
- Ability to prioritize and organize assignments.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing in standard English.
- The employee shall be responsible for maintaining the integrity of Fields Senior Living
Physical Demands and Requirements:
- Maintain ability to lift 50 pounds; to stand or walk throughout the vast majority of the workday; and to frequently push, pull, bend, twist and reach.
- Must be willing to be active and on feet during entire work shift.
- Involves light to heavy physical activity performing non-strenuous and strenuous activities.
- Must have sufficient manual dexterity to work with the fingers and to reach/hand items.
