Robert Half has a client seeking a Senior Social Media Strategist located in Pittsburgh, PA (hybrid schedule). This candidate will possess exceptional skills related to digital content distribution and digital brand strategy using a variety of platforms.
Objectives of this role:
- Manage content calendars and ensure a consistent flow of high-quality content across all social media platforms.
- Use data and analytics to identify successful content and repurpose it to amplify the message across networks.
- Maintain awareness of current trends and best practices.
- Coordinate with both members and external allies to promote brand awareness and create social buzz around campaigns.
- Assist in implementing digital marketing strategies using all necessary channels.
Responsibilities:
- Curate content and develop successful strategies to share daily to company social media networks (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Collaborate with writers and designers to promote branded materials for campaigns and initiatives.
- Develop strategies to grow the company's networks and target new followers.
- Develop regular analytical reports to track content performance and user engagement, proposing data-informed decisions to enhance content effectiveness.
- Contribute to the implementation of digital advertisement strategies for high-level campaigns and messages.
- Work to establish and articulate internal and external key messages and ensure that digital content is aligned accordingly.
- Respond directly to comments and questions on social media posts as needed.
- Work under tight deadlines - often daily turnaround of multiple assignments.
- Use understanding of SEO, keyword research, information architecture, and usability best practices to deliver targeted content.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in the digital communications field, particularly as a content strategist or digital marketer managing successful social media, web, email, text or other digital campaigns and platforms.
- Minimum four-year degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Digital Strategy or relevant field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience in writing for social media and the web.
- Ability to identify target audiences preferences and produce tailored content.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently.
- Ability to exercise discretion with confidential information.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization.
- Flexible and reliable.
- Detail oriented, organized and professional.
- Travel and irregular hours will be required.
