POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Dive into the lab world and collaborate closely with our brilliant lab analysts and scientists to enhance lab functionality. Channel your inner problem-solver and gather requirements to streamline workflows and boost efficiency. Craft and maintain the codebase for our in-house LIMS application, ensuring it's always at the top of its game. Work your magic to ensure smooth deployment within the AWS environment. Leave no stone unturned as you conduct comprehensive testing before our creations go live. Keep the digital wheels turning with ongoing maintenance, updates, and support post-deployment.
REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES Education Requirement(s): Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field is your ticket to the show. Master s degree in Computer Science? That's music to our ears!
Skill & Competency Requirements: Experience:
- You've got 3-5 years of relevant work experience under your belt. Technical Skills:
- You wield Java and Spring like a pro for web application development.
- Your experience with relational databases (Oracle & PostgreSQL) is second to none.
- Testing skills? You've got them in spades with JUnit and Mockito.
- Version control tools like Git & Maven are your trusty sidekicks.
- Front-end development frameworks like AngularJS, React, Node.js? You're on it! Cloud and Deployment:
- You're a master of both functional and non-functional testing.
- AWS services (S3, Fargate, Lambda) are your playground.
- REST APIs? You speak their language.
- Agile software development? You're all about that collaborative vibe.
- Interacting directly with business customers to gather requirements? It's your jam.
- Troubleshooting and debugging applications? Consider it done.
- Deploying applications across various environments? Easy peasy.
- Continuous delivery platforms (Jenkins, AWS CodeDeploy/CodeBuild)? You're in your element.
