**Core Responsibilities:**
* Completes production plan by assigning personnel, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, resolving problems, and reporting results.
* Responsible for training new and existing employees and updating the training matrix.
* Identifying, developing and standardizing work instructions
* Responsible for driving accountability to following work instructions, policies and procedures
* Interface with other departments to address quality and process issues.
* Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points equipment and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
* Recommend alternate solutions to improve quality and operational efficiencies using BES tools.
* Maintain, report, and drive improvements in relevant metrics and key performance indicators
* Understand and ensure customer specific requirements, as related to your function, are met.
* Coaching and developing team members
* Managing payroll, vacations, issues and corrective actions for team members
* Driving continuous improvement projects including but not limited to projects that improve quality, increase ergonomics and productivity
* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

**Qualifications**
* A minimum of 3 years of progressive warehouse and/or assembly experience
* Prior experience leading a team in a team leader, group leader and/or supervisor capacity
* Working knowledge of Quality Inspection
* Extensive knowledge and experience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
* Experience with Production Planning preferred
* Knowledge and/or experience with OSHA preferred.
* Experience in distribution and/or metalworking industries preferred
**Education Requirements:**
* High School Education minimum, Associates degree preferred.
* Equivalent experience in lieu of associates degree accepted.
