No Remote A specialty food manufacturer with a primary focus on bakery products, supplying the Foodservice, Hospitality, Travel and Leisure channels.
**Responsibilities:**
Hands on responsibility to control and supervise the warehouse operation; the daily management of shipping, receiving, and packing of products. Inbound receiving and distribution to departments. Maintaining the highest standards of inventory control, accountability, service level and waste. Compliance of all company health, work area safety, food safety plans, food safety fundamentals (HACCP), and regulatory agency requirements. Manage the planning, scheduling, and logistics associated with shipping function.
Manage the department budget, variable expenses, productivity, and additional costs. Additional purchasing responsibilities of major bulk items.
Mon-Thurs 7AM-5PM.
**Qualifications:**
5+ years of experience actively managing a warehouse department or operation in a food production environment.
Knowledge logistics, supply chain, common inventory controls, shipping and receiving routines, and an understanding of HACCP, Food Handling / ServSafe.
Experience with Vicinity ERP and Microsoft Dynamics GP would be ideal. Preferred Certification: OSHA Forklift operator.
