Summary:

Our consultants are industry experts, providing tactical operational wins to OEMs and T1 Suppliers via extensive industry knowledge, critical thinking and problem solving abilities, and a passion for making hands-on changes to warehouse and production floors rapidly.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Investigating supply methods including (but not limited to) transportation, packaging, source of supply, and material flow for new or existing suppliers.
  • Developing, maintaining, and reviewing of concepts with suppliers, customers, and other departments
  • Alignment with cross-functional project team.
  • Performing quantitative and qualitative evaluations, considering impact to logistics costs and structure
  • Initiating and implementing process improvements through innovative creative ideas.
  • Develops, maintains, and reviews concepts with suppliers and customers.
  • Coordinates and executes scheduling activities for assigned part numbers using advanced planning systems.
  • Assesses and identifies inventory needs as relates to Materials/Resource Planning for future projected Manufacturing forecast.
  • Coordinates input on material shortages.
  • Identifies and reacts to material plans that do not meet customer requirements.
  • Monitors implementation of corrective action plans
  • Assists in effective scheduling and implementation of all programs based on the master schedule, cycle time, production capacity, hardware/tooling availability and status of schedules.
  • Works with Quality Department to analyze any quality concerns throughout the Production process, and implement necessary changes in order to improve production efficiency, quality and processing.
  • Monitors supply and demand misalignment using advanced planning system and collaborate with manufacturing sources to implement corrective action plans.
  • Coordinates the efforts of cross-functional groups and across shifts to resolve bottlenecks, parts shortages, machine maintenance, manpower issues and production capacity.
  • Ensures timely shipments to all customers and prepares and implement work orders and plans as required.


Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Logistics Experience (3PL and MP&L) in Automotive, Manufacturing, or other related industries.
  • 10+ years of experience with forecasting, production planning and overall production processes related to supply chain.
  • Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or other related fields.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills and ability to communicate effectively with client customers at all organizational levels.
  • Strong oral and written communication and documentation skills, including presentation skills (MS Excel, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Experience with using or implementing supply chain solutions (ERP, planning solutions, sourcing solutions)
  • Experience leading small teams or delivering projects or programs.
  • Experience prioritizing tasks and managing assignments in a collaborative team environment.
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related, preferred.
  • ERP and SAP experience required.
  • Previous Consulting Experience Preferred
