Chick-fil-A is hiring Cashiers.

All training will be done in-house through our orientation and training program.

We are hiring immediately and look forward to meeting with interested candidates.

Cashier responsibilities:

Process sales transactions, accept payment from guest, give correct change whether in the store or taking orders

outside in the drive-thru. Yes, you can work outside!

Answer questions from guests.

Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all front counter stations, including bagging, dessert making, expediting,

running orders, and taking orders.

Stock restaurant inventory as needed.

Work with bagging screens, iPads, registers, and various other machines.

Keep the front counter neat, clean, and orderly.

Keep up to date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A corporate.

Work safely around cashier equipment and report any maintenance issues to the Front Manager.

Maintain personal knowledge by completing ongoing in-house training and stay up to date on changes.

Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

Must be 16+ years of age. We welcome teens to apply.

We hire ages 14 and 15 at Minimum Wage.

Must be comfortable working with guests.

Like a fast-paced environment.

Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 16 years of age upon hire date
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must have a source of reliable transportation
  • Ability to handle all equipment, pans, pots, navigating shelving both high and low
  • Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills required
  • Works in hot, noisy and fast paced environment
  • Mobility required during shifts
  • Must work well under pressure
  • Must be able to respond to changes or edits to orders quickly and efficiently
