Their focus is to help large Fortune 1000 clients implement leading software solutions that help to improve profitability, efficiency and overall operational performance and is dedicated to delivering these quality services to every clients satisfaction. This company has strong partner relationships in their space and we are seeking a candidate with pre-sales experience with contract management software that will work closely with internal and vendor sales teams to present implementation services presentations/proposals to customers. Position Title: Pre-Sales Consultant

Location: Anywhere in the West/Mountain/Central region of the U.S.

Position summary:

In this role the qualified candidate will work closely with work in a pre-sales role with the sales organization to sell the companys professional services. You will interact with new and existing clients to determine the optimal solution and approach in which Mainspring can best meet our clients business objectives and address business challenges. This individual will work with the sales organization to support the sales process.

Position responsibilities:

* Create/support strategies to make sales with new customers and to expand markets while keeping a strict focus on building customer retention rates

* Promotes/sells/secures opportunities from existing and prospective clients through a relationship-based approach

* Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential clients and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs

* Identifies areas of opportunity to expand the companys service offerings by locating and exploiting the markets demand

* Researches background for information about existing and prospective clients to prepare for upcoming project scope conversations and captures and verifies key parameters for estimating a project

* Prepare presentations to engage prospects into a collaborative dialogue and present an actionable project for the company to deliver

* Develops the first pass of a statement of work (SOW), for internal review prior to presentation to prospective clients and develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for clients

* Creates and manages a client value plan for existing clients highlighting profile, share and value opportunities with the sales team

* Identifies advantages and compares organizations products/services

* Supplies management with oral and system updates in Salesforce on client contacts, needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services

* Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.

* Participates in trade shows, user conferences and conventions

Required skills:

* 2-4+ years of experience in pre-sales with contract management software experience

* Experience working with professional services teams and channel partners

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for clients in a consultative approach

* Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs

* Results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment

* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and Salesforce

* Bachelors degree
