Operations Officer

The Operations Officer is responsible for overall supervising the daily operation of the bank including but not limited to ensuring daily and monthly task are completed accurately and timely.


  • Oversite on examinations and audits and responding accordingly. Responsible that all policies and procedures are followed and making recommendations for procedure changes when necessary to protect the bank from risk.
  • Responsible for compliance with all banking regulations applicable to the job including Bank Secrecy Act, electronic processing, exceptions, deposit and account maintenance and daily teller balancing.
  • Works with unposted items, overdrafts, return processing, ACH, debit cards and customer support for customer disputes and fraud.
  • Supports the Retail Online banking platform, reviews remote deposits, new accounts, CD products.
  • Completes various financial task on a daily basis balancing General Ledger accounts, accounts payable, monthly and quarterly board reports.
  • Responsible to the training program of the bank ensuring new and current employees are completing required training.
  • Preferred candidate will have minimum of two years experience working in the banking industry, provide excellent customer service, organizational and time management skills and work effectively as an independent and with others.
