Alchemy is working alongside a market-leading art organization in Aspen, Colorado seeking an individual to join their team as an Art Handler.

Responsibilities:

• Safely handle, move and coordinate the storage of all artwork
• Accurately check the condition, labeling and recordings of the artwork
• Assist with the preparation of viewings, sales, exhibitions, breakdowns and transport of the artwork whilst liaising with all sales coordinators
• Ensure the safety of both people and artwork always
• Complete property risk assessments and condition reports

Requirements:

• Clean and valid driver's license.
• Experience working within a gallery, museum, studio, art logistics or auction house background is beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to lift heavy objects/goods
• Demonstrate excellent client service skills with good attention to detail
• Enthusiastic and organized
• Ability to operate forklifts when required
