Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Sales, Product Development and Marketing teams to produce primary packaging labels and secondary boxes for new launches and seasonal kits
Work with the PR team to create PR boxes, invitations and promotional cards
Create and adapt artwork for US and global variations and update current packaging files when necessary
Produce mood boards and packaging renderings for presentation of ideas
Comp labels and kits for discussion and approval
Prep artwork for print production and work closely with our print vendor to ensure smooth processes, packaging fit and print quality
Maintain packaging standards, while bringing in new sources of creativity and implement fresh ideas to advance our brand strategy
Keep project files organized and ensure deadlines are being met
Gather translations from vendors and approvals from retailer teams when necessary
Light photo retouching
Requirements:
BA or BFA in Graphic Design
1-4 years Packaging Design experience in a deadline-driven environment
Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Team player that is highly organized, has exceptional time management skills, pays close attention to detail and can follow project briefs
Ability to work efficiently in fast paced environment
Eager to take on new challenges and ability to take constructive criticism and feedback on design work
Experience with print production, working within dielines and prepping final artwork
Knowledge of regulatory processes and needs a plus
Experience in beauty or other lifestyle consumer goods industry preferred
Must know: Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
Must be familiar with: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Acrobat, large file transfer services
