This position will require high level of performance with sense of urgency in the following areas: Inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing food processing and packaging equipment used in industrial environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Line Mechanic

Some of the duties and responsibilities may include:
- Operates at level of apprentice with sense of urgency to learn all plant processing/packaging equipment issues
- Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics on plant processing/packaging equipment
- Maintains proper documentation through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Complies with company safety, quality, standard operating procedures (SOP) and HACCP guidelines
Qualifications of Line Mechanic - Minimum High School diploma
- 1 to 3 years industrial maintenance experience
- Demonstrates a high level of precision, accuracy and alertness
- Good decision making skills
- Able to lift 50 lbs intermittently
- Good industrial electrical knowledge.
- Good knowledge of the proper use of the tools of the trade
