Director, Teaching and Learning Center

The University of New Mexico (UNM) is seeking a visionary and collaborative leader to serve as the Director of its Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL). The CTL provides learning support for all students, develops faculty teaching skills and enhances pedagogy, and provides course design and learning technology assistance for the full range of courses from asynchronous to face-to-face. CTL plays an integral role in implementing UNM 2040, the University's innovative and aspirational strategic plan to transform the educational experience and promote the success of all learners.

The Director will lead a thriving and award-winning unit that operates within a thriving ecosystem of teaching enhancement projects supported by several funders. The Director will be expected to develop and execute a clear and compelling vision for the CTL, serve as a strategic partner to faculty on teaching and innovation, collaborate across the University to support the success of UNM's diverse student body, maintain a supportive, collaborative, and inclusive team culture, and increase resources to elevate CTL's visibility and support its priorities.
