As the Associate Director of Business Development, reporting to the President, you will play a critical role in expanding our market presence, driving revenue growth through the development of a robust rental initiative within a technical niche market. Your primary objective will be to utilize your deep understanding of thermal and mechanical engineering to identify and pursue strategic partnerships and sales channels and position our company as the leader in this domain.
Responsibilities:
- and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to target key customers, markets, and applications within the Heat Treating, Thermal Induction, and Hydraulic Bolt Closure arena.
- strategic decision-making, identifying business opportunities using emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in rentals.
- strategic partnerships and collaborations with key stakeholders driving mutually beneficial.
- positioning the business unit in alignment with agreed objectives as well as being able to cross-sell (and collaborate) for broader Taurus Industrial Group opportunities.
Requirements:
- degree in engineering or science with 8 + years of demonstrated success in business development, product management, and strategic partnerships with a concentration on thermal management solutions.
- technical understanding and expertise with thermal management technologies.
- with petrochemical, refining, power, LNG, and renewable energy clients.
- network and existing relationships with key players including research institutions.
- communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage with internal and external stakeholders through market data analysis, trends, and effective business strategies.
