* Food Service Worker - Food Services #099-22
**Part-time** **Southampton**
Reporting to the Food Services Supervisor, the Food Service Worker is responsible for the preparation and service of safe, high quality food to patients.
**Qualifications / Skills / Abilities:**
**Required**
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Ability to follow written and verbal job instructions (to be tested)
* Ability to follow basic arithmetic calculations (to be tested if necessary)
* Ability to demonstrate correct lifting and carrying techniques of items weighing in range of 10-50 lbs (to be tested)
* Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
* Ability to meet Public Health standards related to food handling
* Ability to meet physical demands (prolonged standing, frequent bending, twisting, reaching, pulling and pushing of retherming & support carts)
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to work all shifts
* Recent satisfactory attendance and performance records

**Preferred**
* Food Handler Certificate within past 5 years
* Experience working in an institutional food service environment
