About The Role:
We are seeking an Editorial intern to work closely with the Senior News Editor and Senior Research Editor. This person will write news articles and Research reports, as well as assist with larger projects and building posts in our content management system.
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct industry research with an emphasis on new-car product information
- Pitch and write stories for Cars.com's News section
- Write Research reports as assigned
- Build News and Research posts in a content management system
- Assist with larger projects as assigned
About You: - Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to conduct online and phone-based research and interviews
- Interest in online publishing and/or automotive journalism
- Ability to balance multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency in Google's G Suite
- Automotive knowledge or interest
Preferred:- Working toward a Bachelor's degree in journalism, new media, English or other communications-related major
- Experience with WordPress or other CMS
Additional Information:- Pay rate: $17.50/hour
- Part-time: 20-30 hours per week
- Company laptop provided
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position which is not inclusive of bonuses, benefits or other forms of compensation that the position may be eligible for. If you are hired at Cars Commerce, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills and/or experience. Salary Range
$17.50-$17.50 USD
