Role Description
This is a full-time Senior Interior Designer role at White Edge Designs located in Jackson, NJ, with flexibility for some remote work. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of interior spaces, ensuring they are functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. You will collaborate with clients to create comprehensive design plans, including selecting materials, finishes, furniture, and accessories. Your role will involve managing projects from concept to completion, including overseeing construction and installation processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
- At least 5 years of experience as an Interior Designer
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong knowledge of space planning, color schemes, materials, and finishes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Strong understanding of sustainability and accessibility in design
- Experience working with clients and managing client relationships
- Portfolio showcasing previous interior design projects
