Full-time/direct-hire position with our client.
Hybrid - 3 days remote, 2 days onsite (office located near Madison NC north of Greensboro NC area). Must live within commutable distance of Madison NC area.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
ERP
- Preference given for Dynamics and priority for Dynamics GP (Great Plains) other significant ERP experience will be considered
- Maintains ERP and supporting applications to ensure maximum availability and business functions are met.
- Responsible for ensuring that the ERP systems are functioning up to standards. This is a broad area encompassing the following:
- Maintain knowledge of developments in software and hardware and incorporate these developments into future systems of the company.
- Troubleshooting and resolving problems to users on a 24-hour basis.
- Maintain related applications databases (SQL Server)
- Develop scripts to support and improve ERP and supporting applications processes.
- Perform changes in computer and communication system hardware and software so that expenses and downtime are minimized while ensuring reliable and timely services.
- Document all maintenance and trouble-shooting tasks used to support ERP and supporting applications.
- Develop and maintain reports
- Monitor and support backups to ensure high availability on demand.
- Troubleshoot and resolve reported issues through IT ticketing system.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all technology stakeholders.
EDI
- Monitor and support in-/out-bound EDI transactions with focus on Purchase Order and ASN
INTEGRATION
- Support scanning solution to ensure functionality is available to support business needs.
- Oversee and support scanning device maintenance and availability.
- Work with vendors and consultants to improve business processes as needed.
- Work with company departments to improve business processes as needed.
- Oversee and support customer supplied applications (Vendor PackNShip, Vendor Warehouse)
- Disaster recovery of the various information systems. Ensuring daily back-ups of the computer systems and monthly back-ups of the communication systems.
- Maintenance and annual testing of a disaster recovery plan.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Interested in and able to work a full-time, direct-hire position.
- Live within commutable distance to Madison NC area and work 2 days onsite/3 days remote.
- Some college experience/training preferred but significant database and ERP combination of skills and experience will be accepted.
- Must have strong MS stack experience and knowledge.
- Preference will be given for Dynamics ERP and MS SQL Server and MySQL background.
- Strong communication skills and reliability is needed as this is a business-critical role.
