**Description**

Ferrandino and Son currently has an opening for an ambitious **Desktop Support Technician** who is eager to use and grow his or her technological skills. In this role, the successful individual will provide 1st level support for PCs, VOIP phones, Wifi and peripherals including setup and troubleshooting, receive and respond to incoming calls, pages, and/or work orders regarding desktop problems including occasional off hours support.

* Familiarity with using ticketing system

* Act as the initial point of contact for all computer and system related concerns from all employees

* Maintain installed PCs, networks, telephone systems and peripherals

* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktop hardware, OS, standard applications, custom desktop applications

* Receive and respond to incoming calls, pages, and/or work orders regarding desktop problems including occasional off hours support

+ must be willing alternate between primary and secondary emergency on call support person.

* Provide 1st level support for PCs, VOIP phones, Wifi and peripherals including setup and troubleshooting

* If necessary, liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors.

**Qualifications**

* 1-3 years of proven experience in a heavy customer focus position involving and technical knowledge of a companies' products and services (for external)

* Can shift priorities as necessary in fast paced environment

* Open to feedback and coaching designed for employee development

* Experience working with different operating systems including Windows and Mac OS, Office 365 administration, iphones and VOIP desk phone setups,

* Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently

* Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with customers

* Experience installing and configuring computer systems and applications

* Knowledge of basic troubleshooting concepts ping, tracert, etc, Active Directory

* Application Troubleshoot Experience; Hardware Experience (Dell preferred); experienced in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

* 1-3 years of experience in customer focused position proficiency in FAS apps and workflows;
