Job Details
The Maintenance Mechanic maintains equipment according to the Preventive Maintenance program, diagnoses and repairs mechanical problems and performs emergency and proactive repairs of buildings and grounds, production equipment and machinery while minimizing down time. Candidates do not need to be able to preform all duties before starting, but they should have a desire to grow in the maintenance field.
Minimum duties and responsibilities:
Core competencies are: Electrical; Hydraulics; Pneumatics; and Service/Repair of equipment;
Completes and maintains paperwork for maintenance performed;
Operate Forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment as necessary;
Comply with all plant safety and environmental regulations and maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment;
Read and follow QWI and other work instructions necessary to properly assembly product.
